Strawberry Cream & Honey Graham Tart Large
This is a classic pairing of strawberries and cream. House made strawberry jam makes up the base layer of this whole wheat honey graham tart shell, followed by a layer of Diplomat cream (vanilla pastry cream folded together with whipped cream) and a final layer of freshly and artfully piped whipped cream. Garnished delicately with strawberry halves and dehydrated strawberry powder. Local Strawberries primarily from Cider Hill Farm in Amesbury as soon as they are available.
Crust: Butter, Whole Wheat Flour from Maine Grains, wheat flour, sugar, eggs, honey, molasses, and salt
Filling and Topping:
Jam: strawberries, sugar, lemon juice
Diplomat Cream: Half and half from Richardson’s, eggs yolks, butter, sugar, vanilla bean, cornstarch, heavy cream.
