Banana Cream Tart
This adorable floret shaped tartlet is made with Maine Grains whole wheat shortcrust and is then filled with fresh banana puree and a caramelized white chocolate pastry cream. Good old whipped cream tops it all off along with a light dusting of cocoa and chocolate shavings.
INGREDIENTS: Crust: Maine Grains whole wheat flour, unsalted butter, sugar, egg, salt.
Fillings: Richardson's Half and Half, sugar, butter, egg yolks, cornstarch, caramelized white chocolate, vanilla bean, pureed banana, sea salt.
Topping: Heavy Cream, sugar, chocolate shavings, natural cocoa powder (contains soy lecithin)
