Rhubarb Berries & Cream Crossaint

Our flaky croissant dough is topped with creamy brown sugar pastry cream, poached rhubarb, local blueberries (when available from Cider Hill starting in early July), and a bit of whole wheat streusel topping.  This item will change seasonally.  This doubles well as a breakfast treat or a dessert!


Croissant dough: Wheat flour, water, sugar, butter, milk powder, salt, yeast

Toppings: Eggs, half and half from Richardson's, brown sugar, whole wheat from Maine Grains, rhubarb (local when available), blueberries (local when available from Cider Hill Farm starting early July), vanilla bean, cornstarch, allspice, ginger, orange juice, cinnamon.
