This sweet cornbread is so moist and truly a delight. Perfect for breakfast or as an accompaniment to your dinner table. Made for slathering on a pat of soft butter! Made with house milled Wapsie Valley Corn from Seneca Grain and Bean in NY state as well as soft winter white whole wheat from the same farm. These freshly milled grains really sing in this simple wholesome baked good. Serves at least 8 people.
INGREDIENTS:
Cake: Milanaise Transitional Wheat Flour, Pastry wheat flour, house milled Cornmeal, house milled White Whole Wheat Flour, sugar, brown sugar, Richardson's milk, sour cream, melted butter, eggs, baking powder, baking soda, salt.
