Chocolate Babka AVAILABLE 4/19 & 4/20 ONLY
Is is bread? Is it pastry? Traditionally a Jewish Celebration bread, our Chocolate Babka is an enriched dough that is rolled thin, spread with a chocolate ganache filling, more chocolate chunks, rolled into a spiral, cut in half, braided, and shaped into a round loaf. After it is baked, it is brushed with a light glaze.
INGREDIENTS: Dough: Wheat flour, house milled white whole wheat flour, water, salt, yeast, milk, eggs, sugar, butter. Semi sweet chocolate, heavy cream, confectioner's sugar, orange, orange juice.
