Plum Jam Streusel Pinwheel Danish
Our flaky croissant dough filled plum jam made with locally sourced plums from Cider Hill Farm in Amesbury, MA. This jam is a baker favorite and a real treat all around due to the addition of vanilla bean. The pinwheel is then topped with whole wheat streusel using Maine Grains whole wheat and traditional confectioner's sugar icing.
INGREDIENTS: Wheat flour (wheat, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, malted barley flour), Water, Butter, Sugar, Milk Powder, Sea Salt, Yeast, Egg.
Filling: plums, sugar, vanilla bean, star anise, lemon juice.
Topping: wheat flour, whole wheat flour, butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt. extract.
Icing: Confectioner's Sugar and milk.
